What type of clothing (or styles) are flattering me?
I am a 13 year old girl who is tall and slim (about 5'3, if it helps). I was a good citizen and decided my small (and ugly-clothes-i-for-bat when I-was-a-kid ... donate ok, ok, last year!) To children in Haiti. My Mother had a fit about giving away a ton of clothes and told me what I buy what I for now on and I wear a job at all my crap to buy! I want to be sure I will what I buy for a while so I need to see what's wrong with me (Nice by the know how I love clothes and hope to be a stylist! * Stacy London, Clinton Kelly, and Rachel Zoe are my idols !!!).
Now, you might want to stay away from "trend", as such, because if you want want them to for a while, you do not take that to date. I would say one thing you should buy is a classic trench. Trench Coats are really SS2010 in for but they are also a wardrobe essential, and you will be able to wear it season after season. I am 5ft 4 and rather skinny, but you do not have said, what kind of shape you are, so I assume that is not really a problem. Thus, other things you should buy a nice dress or two, a couple of simple T-shirts (I'd also go for more loose ones in neutral colors) and some custom-fit jeans (I had to go with skinny jeans or straight legs, if you are slim, because they most flatter your form). Preferably for a jean go without too many details (such as rivets, slashes, etc.) because, as you are only 13 can You change your style at the end when you are older and simpler jeans can be styled in a greater variety of ways. Remember, it is better invest in pieces less than the purchase of lots of throwaway fashion. You'll be glad when you are older and have beautiful pieces that will help: not dated. Hope this)
