My mother freaks out when I wear guys clothing?
I am 17, lesbians, and I have always type more of the tomboy / skater. Since I am old enough to choose my own clothes, I have worn women's clothes more boyish. Since last year I've started to wear (appropriate size, not baggy) clothing like jeans and boys T-shirts. As a teenager, my older sister was a major girly-girl, and competed in beauty pageants. It drives my mother crazy that I am not for Clothes, bags and many make-up care. I think they wanted me as a Barbie doll, dressing use me for entertainment. I feel like a cross-dresser when I stuff wear girly. How can I understand it, it's nothing personal against them, that's just the way I am?
Its a shame that your mother is doing just leave you be as you. - I consider myself a bit of a tomboy, cos i wear baggy T-shirts and jeans and sneakers, even though my mother says in the T-cos i wear makeup and paint my nails haha. Id say you just sit still and talk to her about it. Try to be calm and dont get mad or anything and just explain that your personality and it is who you are. Suppose you feel most comfortable when you wear clothes you choose. Maybe explain to her that you dont care what clothes she wears, and that they shouldn't care what to wear clothing that you want. One might also ask if they prefer, if you went to dress half naked all the time wearing slutty. Im pretty sure that they want you to dress like you. Good luck:)
